Hi everybody. I'd like to tell you about my progress at my English classes in NES.
When I was in school, I've been preparing for english state exam. My teachers told me how to write a letter to a friend and an essay. The letter had a strong structure, which couldn't be broken; the essay was too limited for such themes, on which it should be based, so this scheme hasn't created any stimulus for improving level of language.
In this classes I met plenty new structures and kinds of essays. Well, as for me, the main advantage of this classes is a really wondering feedback: for every draft you receive a whole essay about your mistakes, the understandable and appropriate pieces of advice. I really enjoy the live connection with the instructor, it develops speaking and listening skills a lot. However, it's a problem for me that there are no tasks, which bring me new vocabulary and strengthen grammar..
I hope, next semester in our classes we would write 3000-4000 letter works.

Some reasons I prefer series to movies.
I like series more than movies because series are longer: they provide me longitude pleasure (if it's really good one). Series character become close and understandable to me, so I love them. For example, "Once upon a time in America" could be much longer than it is, despite it's about 4 hours. I suppose, everybody dreams his favorite film to be directed as a series with the same actors, decorations, story. If a film is a pleasure to see, it is always wanted to never ends. There is also a kind of "feedback": a good series like "The Scrubs" or "Friends" couldn't be filled all in two or three hours; their story develops and changes, bringing new characters, connection with some present events like "TBBT". Also sometimes a book, on which was based a film, concludes more details and key points and without them the true meaning would be lost- it's impossible to make a film, based on "The Game of Thrones" or to tell all parts of "Harry Potter" in one time. However, a film is more static- there are no shitty seasons or characters, it is more discretic in "0-1" scale. In my opinion, if a film is better than the same world soap operas, it's really cool. Or the series are dull. Well, that's not all but enough.

When I was 8 I used to go to the chess club in my school, it was 2 hour after my classes ended, so I and my friend Daniel faced with the dilema of free time, so two times a we had an uncontrolled walking near the school.
It was cold February day. It was shiny at 1 p.m., and great snowdrifts in the schoolyard. There were some children from 5th grade playing snowballs, so we decided to join them. We had a great half an hour, but then one of them threw a piece of ice to the school's door. The security guard (ex-prisoner, asome relative of our principal) walked out with a brutal face. He said something like: "It's time to die, little bustards". We was so scared that we couldn't move. Luckily, he didn't notice me and Daniel, we were lying behind the snowdrift. The other ran away, so he chased them. We successfully entered the school and visited the chess club.
The next day principal started an investigation. The guard recognized everybody except me and Daniel. The fifth-grades told about us and gave our description. We acted stomach pain and left school missing the identification. Also we called and generated an alibi. The next day we were ready to deny all. We met early before school to rehearse. However, nobody reminded that case next day; we expected the accusation for one week more. Then we calmed down. I suppose nobody keeps this thing in mind anymore, so I told you this story today.

The hardest party in my life.
It happened 6 days before my graduating from school. It was my classmate's birthday. She invited 8 people, all of us studied together. We celebrated in her country house. Her parents picked up us in Moscow at 2 pm. and in half an our we were at ours destination. Until 6 pm. we were walking in the forest, talking about entering universities and our prom. Then we had a great dinner with BBQ. As I remember, her father offered us champagne. I refused because I was on an examination of the liver. At 9 pm. her parents left us. We opened our backpack and pulled out 2*0,7 of Jack, 2*0,7 of Bombay, numerous volume of wine and some another stuff. We started with... watching the final Chelsea-Bayern. The second period we was so drunk that we could hardly recognize the players. Well, there was just 3 guys, one of them doesn't drink at all, another one was a coward, so all girls was enjoying drinking with me. We felt asleep at 5 am. At 8 arrived her parents and get us to the city. In the morning I felt ok and had a clear head. In the evening I lost my connection with the world and got a high temperature. I catched mononucleosis that night and missed my prom and state exams, got to a hospital and everybody thought I got a cancer. Surely I should running hardly naked in the cold morning.
