#1.
Hi guys. My name is Vladimir. Writing is my most hated kind of activity. It's hard to present things that are quiet obvious to me in a serious manner because they seem unimportant, though you may be interested.
I'm from Moscow. I have been stidying in school #1479. I liked math, economix and literature. Other subjects I studied almost perfect, not skillfully and with ardor. Most of the time spent in school i spent hanging out with my numerous friends. Ok, about all my fre time I watched movies. I haven't counted, but I suppose that the amount of films I saw is bigger than the quantity of any, even the smallest exercices I've done for last 10 years. I started with actions and comedies, then I continued with top 250 movies, then I was interested in art-house films. Now i watch almost all the high rated movies. Moreover, I watched many UK and USA soap operas, animated comedy television series and so on.
Well, also I like different sports, listening to music, visiting art galleries and museums, reading classic literature, traveling, etc.
I am fond of Western culture: I like it's socio-economic foundations, law system, way of life. I hope I could live in Russia and enjoy this benefits soon.
I hope I don't seem to be nerd to you.
Yours, Vladimir.

Ha, no, you don't seem like a nerd, Vladimir! You did do a nice job with your first blog, though.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you have any recommendations for good Russian movies for me to watch. Of course, I would need to find versions with subtitles in English. I saw two Russian films at an international film festival in Minneapolis, Minnesota last spring. They were both quite good, though they were very different. One was a sci-fi movie named "Target" and the other was a drama named "Elena." Did you see either of these? I suppose you may not know, actually, since sometimes they change the titles when movies are distributed in a different country.
What animated comedy series do you like to watch? I assume you've seen "The Simpsons," and I've also noticed that "Futurama" is on TV here. How about "South Park" and "Family Guy"? They're also very popular in the U.S. My favorite one, "King of the Hill," isn't on as much anymore, though. I think they stopped making new episodes of it.
Keep up the good blogging!
Yeah, I like Andrew Zvyagincev's films. Well, my favourite comedy series are South Park, Robot Chicken, My name is Earl and Mighty Boosh. As you can guess, grotesqueness and madness are the determinative factors for me.
DeleteHa ha, I just got the Benjamin Button reference in your blog title.
