It's hard to believe, but three or four years ago my favorite band was AC/DC. That was one of the first of foreign band I've ever heard, that is also one of the most hard and drive band. However, that's samely band I've ever heard. In my opinion, their music is okay, but one album is like any another one and I'm not sure if Bon Scott had dead because the voice in all the songs is the same, I think. However, some time ago I wasn't worry about such things - the music was loud, fast, rhythmic and it IS rock. That times I was just thinking that I have a special life, a special destination. I tried to rock, however, I was in 8th grade, so you can imagine, how did it look like. Well, that's funny fact of my life.
As an American in Russia, it's very interesting for me to find out what Western music makes its way over here. And I agree - it's very strange to look back on what I liked several years ago! Sometimes I laugh at the music I liked...
