#15. (Anna's topic #1)

Did you watch *The Eurovision Song Contest 2013*? If you did, what songs did you consider to be the best? Do you think that voting is usually fair in this competiton?
That weekend – about 10 days ago – I had marvelous plans to meet with my girlfriend and then to go on my friend-girl B-day party. However, my friend-girl changed her mind and all my hopes was destructed in one moment. I walked with girlfriend, then I called Sam, my best friend. We decided to hang over at his place. We bought coconut liquor "Malibu" and pineapple juice. When we came to his apartments, we drunk some Pina-Coladas. It was very sweet, so we decided to drink some vine. I remember, I've opened the vine while it was playing Greece's song. We liked it. When we finished second bottle, Sam said he doesn't feel well, so he went to sleep. I took his laptop, turned the TV volume down and listened to some really good music. When the election was over, I was surprised, because Top 5 songs sounded in one way!!! I think Eurovision is mostly for politics, shows and money, voting iand the songs are really hypocritical. Listen to the Rock!

The summer is coming. What are your plans for summer? Are you ready for it?
I'm really looking forward for summer to come! That's hard to plan all the summer in advance as everything may change and as my plans depend on many factors including the plans of my family and friends. However, I definitely know how I'm going to spend one month of my summer: I'm going to the New-York City. Even though I have already been there there is still a lot to see in New York.
Actually, I have plenty of plans for my trip. As I'm traveling with my friends, I guess it's going to be much fun. In addition to visiting loads of places of interest. I love New York. I think it is the best city in the world. I've already been there. I liked it. This city is beautiful. I lived in a high hotel. On the 24th floor. The view was magnificent. I walked on the crossroad of Broadway and the Fifth. I saw the Triangle. I liked it. I saw many New-Yorkers. They are funny and cool. I love them. Hello to New-Yorkers!

How do you celebrate (if you the celebrate) the 9th of May? What is your attitude to the fact that many people now consider this holiday (and not only this) as a reason to gather and drink?
This 9th May I celebrated in a strange form: a very loud noise awaked me after a good night. I recognized the parade sounds and remembered it's 9th May. To tell the truth, I don't feel strong emotions of this day; in ,y opinion, people celebrate it in the wrong way. For example, they could help the veterans or keep a silence for a minute. This holiday isn't so actual as it was when there was a veteran of this war in every family or in every house; for them it is/was a really important date. Nowadays for many people it's just a reason to drink, an extra free day. It's their choice what to do at 9th May,  for me the problem of hypocrisy is more significant: I saw a lot of congrats of  veterans on Facebook, VK (russian Facebook), Twitter and Instagram or on cars' windows like "Thank Grandfather for the victory" or "Thank veterans". Maybe people think, that it looks pretty, but it's awful.

#12 (Ksenia's topic #1. Do you watch any serial? If you do, which one? What do you think about the serials in general?)

Now I'm watching just 2 series - "The Games of Thrones" and "How I Met Your Mother". These series are not the best I've ever seen, but they are rather interesting - the first is very long and has a great plot and characters, the second one is really funny and hilarious. What do I think about the series in general? I think it is a comfortable and easy way to get a big amount of pleasure. There are two ways of watching series, one is when the series has a lot of seasons and series, and the second is when each episode comes out once a week. I love the first way. I can enjoy a great feeling of reading a good book, when I don't need to stop and wait for the new series. I love some series like "The Sopranos". I would like there would be more series based on books I've read or the films I've watched and liked - most of plots have an option of being continued.

#11. (David's topic #3 - FREE choice)

I would like to talk about the summer and how it's important for me. I'm really waiting for the vacation. I have no certain plan's but I think the studying will stop for a couple of months. That's a big pleasant for me. Because I have already get pissed of doing homework's, not sleeping at nights learning hard things, living in fear of failing the subjects. Well, these feelings visit me everyday for last three weeks. And i'm really thinking of making the vacation this Thursday, or celebrate the Day of Bicycle this Friday. It's already warm, but it isn't hot enough to wear only T-shirt, it is snow everywhere. Also I've a birthday at the end of May. And there would be some festivals of Russian movies, I'm going to watch one of my favorite Russian film - "Green Elephant". It's rude and cruel, but it shows the changes in psychology of army officers. True art house. Well, that would be the greatest event of this summer.

#10 (Ildar's theme #1).

What would you prefer: the life of a billionaire with a lot of troubles in the New York or the life of some poor guy with everything you need to have a good life in Hawaii?
Let's count some pros and contras of first and second opportunity.
Living in NY:
Pros:
  • You have a lot of friends.
  • You have a whole level in a skyscraper, where you have liquors and drug.
  • Drive a GTO.
  • You have so many really pretty girlfriends.
  • You have so many ways to spend time.
  • EVERY MOMENT you can move to Hawaii.
Contras:
  • The friends and girlfriends are mostly fake, they love your money, not you.
  • Even the medicine is perfect, smoking and drugs kill you.
  • Maybe, inside you are really sad.
Living in Hawaii.
Pros:
  • You are happy.
  • You have a good life.
Contras:
  • You are poor and you can't become a billionaire from NY.
So, I would like to live in NY and have everything for a good life. A couple bags of dollars won't be extra.

#9 (Telman's theme #2).

2) Does the weather affect your mood, in what way? Do you agree with the idea, that there is no bad weather, each one is wonderful and amazing in some way.
Good evening, dear friends, sorry Telman.
I have an idea, that your feelings about the weather are mostly depend on your mood totally: if you are in a good mood, you would think the storm is breezing and the thunderbolt lights your way, or you can be angry with a shining sun and flying butterflies being in a bad mood. However, I think your perception of a weather depends also on such things as timeliness and habitualness for a certain season. So, freezing temperature and snow are not welcome in April as rain is not acceptable in January. Another factor is an activity you are doing. Sitting at home decreases the minuses of any weather, so the correct clothes act this way. Nevertheless, I have a favorite weather. I like when it is not raining, not  very windy and about 25 C˚. I can do anything and would get the maximum satisfaction. And of course, this weather would make me happier. There are also bad weather - when it's too cold or to hot,

My theme, topic #2.
I forgot one story, which happened to me last weekend, so I will write about the internet site. I use "Vkontakte" for 4 years. That is a very useful resource. That was copy of a Facebook at the beginning. But some time after, Pavel Durov, the creator added there music and video. I don't know about copyrights, but you can WATCH MOVIES, SERIES and LISTEN to MUSIC there of any kind and every time of day. Also there are some programs, which allow you to download the music and videos. Guys! That is a very bad, but you really can do it in Russia with no fear to be caught. That's amazing! It gives you a chance to get culturally literate. However, it takes your time for useless chating with uninteresting people - a kind of tax for education.

#7.Best trip.

Good morning everybody!
I'm going to tell you about my best trip ever. That was in my last grade in school, my mother take me and my sister to Italy. That was a tour with visiting Firenze, Roma and Venice. I think it isn't important for you to know, what pizza I've eaten, what pictures I took and what landmarks I've seen. I just want to share with you my expressions. It was winter, but it was just about 10-15˚, so it was a little cold. We walked the streets and we were seeing the anxiety, we were feeling the anxiety, we also felt the culture, culture everywhere. I thought I got in the 15th century, when Leonardo and Michelangelo lived and created, when all the city-dwellers were educated, intelligent and humanistic. When you see such an architecture, such paintings, you understand that Moscow is a kind of dirty. Here are no an architecture style, the streets out the Sadovoe Kol'tso are the hell, where your heart doesn't live. Well, that journey was one of the greatest. I want to repeat it.

#6. (David) Topic #3: Free Choice!

I'd like to talk about the army problem in Russia. Most young men must serve for one year. However, most of them, who must serve, don't serve. A simply not-serving is a crime, so people need to do something to avoid the law. It costs money - not big money, but it costs.
For many developed countries this situation seems to be strange - there are no problems with the conscription, sometimes there is competition on enrolling the army. All my life I was in thought that this problem is a part of a "Russian soul", and only a year ago I understood that that's just a part of the "Supply and Demand" theme. In most European armies there are a lot of benefits of serving - free education', an experiencing of management. In Russia that's very dangerous and useless year. That's why people in Russia don't want to go to the army.

№5. What's the most important for you in people's character? Which trades of character a person should have that you'll like him or her?

I met many people and with most of them I had a kind of conversation. There were some people who I liked and that I disliked. Analyzing my experience and the results of some parts of my life, i have mentioned some important features for me.
The most important feature is the ability to imagine. I haven't noticed any interesting for me people who can't share with me something they imagine right now. It's important for me to know how the person is thinking, the way of dreaming. I don't like the people, who are concerned only about their life, their daily problems - they almost all are very boring.
And another one - is the sense of humor. It should be special - not dumb and not nonexistent - it should be wild and easy provoked.
In people I don't like double-dealing and egoism - when people are ready to betray you for a small reason.

#4.

Do you have a person, sport, band or something else that you are really fan of?
I was always very prideful about myself and I haven't ever thought somebody can reach something that I can't achieve. But some time ago I understood that it's important, what a person has done with his or her setting, what kind of progress they've deed. Lets take a look on Bob Marley's life: he was born in a very poor village in Jamaica. Bob Marley moved to Kingston at very young age, he had no money to buy food, but he played the guitar and worked on record studio. At the end he became one of the greatest, important and significant musician of all the times. I respect him for doing his evaluation.

#3.

It's hard to believe, but three or four years ago my favorite band was AC/DC. That was one of the first of foreign band I've ever heard, that is also one of the most hard and drive band. However, that's samely band I've ever heard. In my opinion, their music is okay, but one album is like any another one and I'm not sure if Bon Scott had dead because the voice in all the songs is the same, I think. However, some time ago I wasn't worry about such things - the music was loud, fast, rhythmic and it IS rock. That times I was just thinking that I have a special life, a special destination. I tried to rock, however, I was in 8th grade, so you can imagine, how did it look like. Well, that's funny fact of my life.

№2. When you visited your school the last time? Write about your feelings.

I have different feelings about my school. I can't say I loved and miss it, but I will never forget the time well spent there. I studied there for my last two classes at school. Teachers worked hard on us, however our results haven't satisfied them. I found there some friends, some true fellas, so time was running with a great speed. I felt in love for some times, sometimes I was brokenhearted, nevertheless I don't mind that aspect of my school-life. I needed to work for some time there, and my work was fruitful. I got respected. The last time I saw classmates all together was at mine prom. I realized that I need that people whom with I faced every day for last two years and I feel something near love to all people made my school ending. I think I would cry if I visit my school, so I don't visit it. I really regret that time ended.

Topic #3:  Write about your first week of the semester.  How do you like your new classes?  Are you looking forward to this semester?  Why or why not?
Well, 3 of 5 classes seem to be the same I've taken last semester - they've changed a very little. The most changes are in English - now I need to read more. Astrophysics sounds interesting, so it is. The history of art appeared much more interesting than I've expected. I realized that I know just general things of art. The increase of my erudition for first week is fantastic - I perceive the art in a very different way.
I'm going to start studying. Studying in a way it is appropriative here to have a good place in rating. So I'm going to do homework before the deadlines, study harder etc. I think it would be a good and fruitfull semester. So, thank for attention.
